Let me be the first to tell you that the call for papers is open for the Real-Time Analytics Summit 2024. The conference will take place on May 8-9 of next year, but the CFP is open from now until November 7, 2023.

The 2023 Summit marked a significant milestone in the real-time analytics movement. It was the first in-person industry event dedicated to the topic, and it brought together content and sponsors from across the ecosystem. Prominent companies like Uber, AWS, Stripe, DoorDash, LinkedIn, Confluent, Starburst, and yes, StarTree got to share their knowledge, expertise, and insights with an energetic audience. It was a place developers like you could come to learn what other people are doing in this emerging field, and to build the kind of connections that can drive unparalleled advances in your career.

Join us at Real-Time Analytics Summit 2024

We are returning in 2024 with bigger plans and an all-new venue—but that doesn’t matter if your talk isn’t in the program. We’re looking for abstracts spanning the entire spectrum of real-time analytics topics, from Kafka to Flink to streaming SQL to Apache Pinot, and any other technology in the real-time ecosystem. Whether your expertise lies in streaming platforms, stream processing, real-time databases, infrastructure concerns, relevant tooling, application architectures, user interfaces, or any other facet of this field, we want to hear from you.

Also, we’d love to hear just as much from engineers using and managing these systems in production as from the software engineers designing and coding these systems in their respective development communities. Anything from production use cases, to benchmarking and testing, to interesting integrations of technology, to deep architectural insights.

And as always, I’d like to encourage people from underrepresented groups to submit. We want to see your session!

If you’re new to speaking, don’t let that stop you from participating. We have experts ready to help you craft your abstract standing by in the #rtasummit-submissions channel of StarTree Community Slack. Drop by anytime to talk about your idea for a session, or for feedback on the abstract you're working on.

Don’t forget, Summit sessions are recorded on video, so with your permission, your presentation will be live online as a permanent asset for you to use to showcase your own work and help continue to grow the real-time analytics community.

The CFP will remain open until 11:59pm PST on November 7. You know what to do. Help us spread the word, and get your abstract in. 2024 might be your year to speak at the Real-Time Analytics Summit.
