Abhinesh Hada, Engineering Manager, and Suyash, Data Charter Lead, share how Blinkit uses StarTree Cloud’s real-time analytics for experimentation, observability, and alerting. As an early adopter of StarTree and Apache Pinot, Blinkit was able to transition from a one- or two-day delivery model (under the company’s previous name of Grofers) to a 15-minute delivery model.
"The team at StarTree has been very supportive. From day one, they have been very, very dedicated. Initially we had some issues when we were setting up things, and the whole StarTree team (including the tech team, their cloud team, and their support team) were available on call at any point in time. They helped us quickly stabilize our cluster, stabilize our requirements, and then eventually we reached a state where we can add more and more use cases without worrying about downtime."
